Lock Haven PA - May 16, 2008 - Intelmarx has been named the Young & Upcoming Award winner by the PA Business Central Newspaper. The company is among four other award winners, including Congressman John Patterson, winner of the Entrepreneurial Hero Award; Penn College, winner of the Economic Development Award; The Hartman Group, winner of the Small Business Award; and Phyllis Bandstra of Goodwill Industries of Conemaugh Valley, winner of the Women/Minority Award.

Social Software Will Allow Stakeholders to Spur Collaboration and Partnerships Between Academia and Industry at the Hershey Center for Applied Research
Altoona - April 10, 2008 - Intelmarx has been awarded a contract to develop a collaborative social network for the Hershey Center for Applied Research in Hershey, PA. The Hershey Center for Applied Research (HCAR) is a research park that offers life sciences and high technology companies at all phases of the business life-cycle state-of-the-art wet and dry lab facilities and office space, as well as access to capital, business support services, and shared amenities. The campus is located adjacent to the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and College of Medicine, an academic medical institution that is undertaking approximately $100 million annually in research, thereby providing a pipeline of opportunities for collaborations and partnerships between academia and industry. Using Intelmarx's web-based software as a solution (SaaS) community-building product SocialGood and Intelmarx's newest enterprise collaboration web-based product ThoughtShare, HCAR is using the software to help spur partnerships and innovation between research scientists, venture capitalists, state economic development agencies and the research park.
