The Director of Marketing will report to the CEO, serving as an integral member of the senior management team, and will be responsible for the developing the company’s marketing strategy, positioning and messaging, along with the go-to-market execution by driving content strategy and development across all marketing channels. The director of marketing will also perform as a resource for Intelmarx’s portfolio of non-profit clients.
The director of marketing will help formulate Intelmarx multi-channel marketing strategy, and then work with the leadership team to create high value, engaging content that spans outbound demand generation, web site, social media SEM, events, info graphics, video, sales tools demos, interactive tools/ widgets, and collaterals. The ability to combine strategy and execution with applicability to various marketing channels, in building the Intelmarx brand and demand for our services is critical.
The Director of Marketing will:
Spearhead the development and creation of all content across every marketing channel; be a key, innovative thinker on creating new forms of content that drive measurable engagement from our target markets of nonprofit decision makers; be a proactive marketing leader in driving the use of social media throughout the Intelmarx enterprise and portfolio; play an active and key role in building Intelmarx brand identity across all key marketing channels; be proactive in identifying the way our target markets would like to be engaged, and make specific recommendations about leveraging marketing channels and creating and mapping content to that level of engagement in that channel; work with the team to drive campaigns that produce measurable brand and demand results. Candidates must possess the following capabilities, experience and skills:
Marketing Skills:
The candidate must have a strong record of achievement in driving the development and creation of content in an innovative, strategic, marketing environment. This is the ideal position for an individual who wants to combine strategic marketing, creative, and writing abilities, applying them to multi-channel marketing. Our target market, focusing on non-profit C-level executives, creates the opportunity for the right individual to hone and develop more sophisticated marketing skills.
Candidates will need a minimum of five years of marketing related experience in a B2B environment, a solid understanding of multi-channel marketing and a track record of engaging resellers, prospects and customers through content and channels. Demonstrate creativity in previous work, producing measurable results. A demonstrated understanding and appreciation of social media, applying it to a B2B context, evolving web sites for a sophisticated audience like nonprofit execs, and an ability to create many forms of content for demand generation campaigns. Excellent writing, communication, and project management skills with an ability to drive results are a must. A passion for innovative marketing that is relevant to create engagement. Candidates will be experienced in making presentations to decision makers.
Candidates that have had demonstrable success either marketing to nonprofits, or have solid experience either within a nonprofit organization or as a volunteer will be given preference.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in MS Office Suite, experienced with web-based CMS, blogging platforms, social media tools and platforms.
Education:
BS or BA Degree in marketing, English or communications preferred. Combined education and or proven track record of success may be substituted for all or part of this requirement.
